The Unit SLS takes the 2027 Unit shape and builds it in Duotone's SLS construction — 135g PentaTX through the frame with an 82g Aluula Gold center panel where the loads are highest. You get most of the D/LAB's stiffness and low swing weight at a real-world price, and in the widest size range in the lineup: 2.0 all the way up to 6.5.
What changed for 2027
- Shorter strut — less swing weight, more compact in the hands.
- Refined profile distribution — less depth through the center, more at quarter-span, for smoother power and better low-end.
- Optimized canopy tension and tip twist — stays quiet overhead when depowered.
- Updated window layout — better visibility to leeward.
- Wide leading-edge handle — easier to grab and control.
- Molded mini batten pockets — cleaner trailing edge, less flutter.
