The Unit D/LAB is the benchmark performance wing, and the 2027 generation is the lightest and stiffest yet. A full 82g Aluula Gold frame replaces conventional dacron entirely — the frame holds its shape under load instead of flexing, so the power you put in comes back out as drive rather than disappearing into a soft leading edge.

What changed for 2027

Shorter strut — more compact in the hands, easier to throw around in the waves and on rotations.
Reduced leading-edge diameter — less drag, noticeably less swing weight on the tips.
Refined profile distribution — smoother power delivery through the gust range instead of a hard hit.
Optimized canopy tension and tip twist — holds shape when depowered, so it stays quiet overhead when you're riding off the foil.
New window layout — better sightlines to leeward.
Wide leading-edge handle — easier to grab and control on the water.
